The
much hush-hush couple is all set to work together on-screen, after a seven years
hiatus from signing any film together. The off-screen couple will be seen
together in a romantic comedy, to be produced by Kumar Taurani of
Tips.

Angel and Riteish Deshmukh have been ‘close friends’ for quite a few
years, but have always denied their relationship in public. Apparently, the
couple started dating since they met on the sets of their debut film Tujhe Meri Kasam in 2003

Last year, a
tabloid reported that the couple was set to tie the knot, but they later
squashed all such developments. Their relationship is said to have gone through
some rough patch when Riteish got close to Jacqueline Fernandez, but the couple
got back together in July last
year.
Our source informed that
the two actors have officially given their nod to a script. This will be the
couple’s next film together after Inder Kumar’s Masti (2004).
“They have stayed away from doing movies together despite getting plenty
of offers. But this film just got their attention,” the source
said.

When contacted, a
surprised Kumar Taurani confirmed, “Yes, we are indeed making a film with
the two. It is a romantic comedy. The film will be directed by a new director
Mandeep Kumar, who has earlier done a Punjabi film with
us.

He brought the script and
we are quite kicked about it.” The producer also admitted that they are
looking to go on floors on July 25, which is as soon as Ritiesh returns from his
Housefull 2 shoot.
