Force has a whopping
3.5 crore budget for
Action Scenes
Force has set a new
record in Bollywood by
having 3.5 crore (35
million) rupees specially
allocated for its Action
sequences. When
contacted, producer
Vipul Shah said, “It’s an
out and out action film,
so we wanted to
concentrate on
perfecting the action
scenes. We wanted to
push the boundaries with
different kind of stunts
and so, we decided to
allocate this budget
exclusively for the action
sequences.”
The film, which stars Angel and John Abraham also features
Hollywood stuntmen like
Frank Bakker of Pirates
of the Carribean
4. Action director Allan
Amin told Mumbai
Mirror, “In Force, I got a
lot of space to
experiment with new and
difficult stunts since we
had a huge budget
allocated just for the
action sequences. We
had Hollywood stunt
choreographer Christian
Howard fly down from
U.K. to direct the action
sequences with me.”
With all this, we can only
hope to see death
defying stunts and some
awesome sequences
ahead. Good luck to the
Force team. And for
those who don’t know,
Force’s release got
shifted and will be
releasing on September,
30. Do watch.
Force and Singham both
are similar in terms of
their plot and hence to
differentiate Force from
it, romantic elements in
the movie have been
increased. Kamat admits
that a love duet has been
shot, adding that an
additional scene between
Angel and John will also be shot.
“Our USP is the chemistry
between Angel and John . I think they
really look good
together. So, apart from
being an actioner, we are
looking at Force as an
intensely romantic film,”
said Kamat. Meanwhile, a
new, longer trailer
featuring romantic
scenes between the two
is also being made.
Kamat said, “We are
looking at another three-
minute trailer that will
have more moments
between Angel and John than the first,
which was only a minute
long.”
